Changeable weather! ATM we are making a range of fabrics into hoods and tubes. Even now we are still making waterproof hoods and tubes, but the number of summer knit hoods and tubes orders is starting to take over the waterproof orders and in just about a 'first' for this time of year, we recently made up two breeze tubes for someone who is super organised (and may I say very matchy matchy which we love here at GHE).

If you love our waterproof items for winter and want to keep the same rugging set up going through summer, plus keep those plaits looking great, the summer knit fabric is for you.

Then come those really really hot summer days where no self-respecting horse wants to much on, the breeze material allows for airflow, stops bleaching and annoying flies.

We have a range of colour options in the summer knit and breeze fabric, plus lots of trim colour choice.

Our staff are all based in NZ and really pride themselves on making each order truly a made to measure product that's unique to you, we always try to make sure the satin linings are matching and cute/funky where we can, and the velcro tab covers also work in with the whole colour scheme.

Would you like a ride in waterproof saddle cover but pay less? Introducing the "Harlequin" budget waterproof saddle cover. Our deluxe saddle covers sell for $69.00, a Harlequin saddle cover sells for $52.00 + PP. These are made using up pieces of fabric that are left over.
We have plain navy or black, plus an array of multi coloured cute, patterned fabrics such as the one shown in the pic.

Show boots. We seem to be making a lot of these at the moment. So good for warming up in at shows and keeping legs clean. Designed to allow for fetlock movement and they won't slip down. Can be used night before shows in stables and yards. Some even use them for travelling.
These come in a range of outer colours, with a choice of dark or light lining.

The clock is ticking to the first A&P shows. And along with the shows comes the problem of keeping the rider/handler clean before competition.
Our Posh Ponies over trousers are made out of a lightweight semi waterproof fabric, with velcro sides and additional waterproof protection at the ankle.
Wear while waiting to ride or can easily be removed while the rider is in the saddle.
Available in navy with any contrast colour.

An exciting parcel of goodies arrived over the weekend from super saddler Kerry. We will be posting pics of the items over the next day or so, many are sold, but there are a few items for stock.
Our leatherwear is made using English leather and fittings, by a qualified saddler and we pride ourselves on not being mass produced, and being able to produce made to measure quality items that will look good and last for more than a lifetime.
First up:

-Gorgeous little hunt style whip to be used in FYR/welsh and open saddle hunter classes. (shown in dark brown, but available in black and with a range of tops, foxhead, antlers, etc. Sold but orders taken and next delivery date is in October.
-FOR SALE. Top quality turnout number holder in dark brown, will fit up to around 13.2hh size. If you take your turnout very seriously this item will help round off your look. Usually $385.00, selling for $220.00.
