Easy care paddock boots. Like most people I’ve struggled to find a paddock boot that was good to use in the winter. Aka protected the legs but also easy to wash and dry quickly. Introducing our Sherpa lined, waterproof outer paddock boots. The boots have fill for added protection.
Anyone who has used our waterproof tubes or hoods will know just how good the waterproof fabric is.
Available from XS to XL size. And priced from $135.00 per set of 4.
Limited colours available but we try to work to most colour preferences.
These boots could also be used in travel/yarding and stabling even to warm up in.

Aren’t these the cutest? XS size show boots for a young lady who just loves to dress her ponies in pink. Of course one pony having four full legs of white socks called for something to keep those socks clean and dry before entering the ring.
Can be made with dark lining for those horses and ponies with dark legs.
So handy for keeping legs clean either floating, while warming up or yarding etc.

Budget Waterproof hoods. Now and again we have enough scrap pieces left over to make up an inexpensive waterproof hood (or tube) option. Shown here in 14.2hh size (and sold) for just $115.00, which is quite a saving on the usual price of $175.00. (+ PP). Apart from using pieces of fabric we are able to offer these cheaper as these are the terms:
-no maker label
-no colour choice
-no covered velcro tabs, just Velcro
-no elastics and clips but there are little fabric dees to attach your own attachments to.

If keen to put your name down for one of these please PM the page. It’s expected that the larger sizes wouldn’t be available due to the amount of fabric required to make them up.

Proof that our Waterproof Tubes work to regrow lost mane! The lovely Delta is proof that by using our Waterproof tubes and the Hairy Ponies Mane and Tail serum you can achieve mane regrowth.

The before and after pics are taken 6 months apart. Look at that luscious mane in photo 2.

Photo 3 shows how the tubes sit and fit. They are designed to sit away from the mane, allowing for air flow around the name and no pressure points.

The Tubes also assist in preventing mane loss IF used without a combo top rug. Tubes are designed to be used with a rug only, not a combo.

Priced from $150.00 + PP, with lots of options to attach the tube to a range of rugs.

We are currently working on a prototype super warm Waterproof tube for those extremely cold days, or for horses in the colder parts of NZ.

Show and Turnout clinic - Hastings 30 August 2025 at Fenbury covered arena. Offering this first to GHE friends and followers before opening applications up in a few days to all others.

Our friendly and informative Show/turnout clinics return. These are designed for ALL levels of riders, from newbies to Hoty title holders. Ridden and in hand sessions as follows - In hand, Lead rein and FYR, Ponies, Horses. Each session is 1 1/2 hours with a RAS judge/instructor. Learn how to best present yourself on the circle/in the 'stand up' and in workouts.

Learn all the make-up and presentation tricks from our experts. Discuss outfits. Friendly and open question and answer sessions during this time.

We must stress that these days are non-judgmental, friendly, welcoming and open to all levels of riding, young/green/experienced animals are all welcome.
