It's not very often we get girths such as these into sell second hand! All made by our GHE saddler, who is UK trained, uses only English leather and fitting and hand stitches much of her work. Many of these girths were over $380.00 when made new. Details as follows:
-Dark brown and white girth with tuck in points 22" (58cm). In excellent condition.SOLD.
-Black and white girth. Appears brand new 28" (71cm) $215.00
-Dark brown and white girth with tuck in points 28" (71cm), appears unused. $195.00
All prices +PP
All measurements are end of buckle to end of buckle.
Today's prices would put these girths over $450.00 each.
All the girths are lovely and soft and will be comfortable for the horse or pony.

Bargain time on some of our top of the line hoods. It's not often that we get 'caught out' here at GHE, as generally speaking our lovely customers order, paid and receive.
We have a failed payment order here, which in fairness I have to put hand on heart and say I'm part to blame, I should have at least taken a deposit.

We list as follows - all navy with purple trim and some cute/funky covered tabs and satin lining. The sizes aren't standard; however, these are a 13.2hh/14.2hh face on a 14.2hh neck so will either fit a 13.2hh with a big neck or a 14.2hh with a small head.

1 x summer knit hoods, usually $145.00 ea. Selling for $115.00 ea
1 x polar fleece hood, usually $145.00, selling for $115.00
2 x waterproof hoods, usually $175.00, selling for $130.00 ea. all + PP

We also have 2 x matching 4'6 cotton rug/tail bags available, but as these are a standard size they are the usual price, unless we talk turkey with the purchase of any hoods :)

It's so hot isn't it! We can tell that the temperatures are on the increase by the amount of Breeze tubes and hoods we have made in the last week or so. Below are some pics of what we can do and details on styles/prices.

Breeze fabric colours in stock atm - Red, royal blue, limited amounts of silver and pale blue.

Notes: We can offer Budget/Harlequin hoods and tubes from time to time when we have large enough scraps left over. Currently we have enough scraps to make two or three (size depending). Budget Harlequin items are as follows- no colour choice at all, no maker label, no attachements but dees to attach fittings to, no returns.

Xmas shut down and final orders. My staff are taking a break over the holidays, so final orders are to 10th December 2025 and we reopen for orders 4 January 2-26.
I do have some summer knit tubes in stock, but if wanting breeze items we have royal blue, burgundy and silver breeze fabric in stock atm. And in summer knit fabric we have navy or pale blue.
Don't forget our famous anti rub vests if you have shoulder rub, and if you have pink noses to deal with, we line our nose guards in the same lining as the rub vests.

Changeable weather! ATM we are making a range of fabrics into hoods and tubes. Even now we are still making waterproof hoods and tubes, but the number of summer knit hoods and tubes orders is starting to take over the waterproof orders and in just about a 'first' for this time of year, we recently made up two breeze tubes for someone who is super organised (and may I say very matchy matchy which we love here at GHE).

If you love our waterproof items for winter and want to keep the same rugging set up going through summer, plus keep those plaits looking great, the summer knit fabric is for you.

Then come those really really hot summer days where no self-respecting horse wants to much on, the breeze material allows for airflow, stops bleaching and annoying flies.

We have a range of colour options in the summer knit and breeze fabric, plus lots of trim colour choice.

Our staff are all based in NZ and really pride themselves on making each order truly a made to measure product that's unique to you, we always try to make sure the satin linings are matching and cute/funky where we can, and the velcro tab covers also work in with the whole colour scheme.

Would you like a ride in waterproof saddle cover but pay less? Introducing the "Harlequin" budget waterproof saddle cover. Our deluxe saddle covers sell for $69.00, a Harlequin saddle cover sells for $52.00 + PP. These are made using up pieces of fabric that are left over.
We have plain navy or black, plus an array of multi coloured cute, patterned fabrics such as the one shown in the pic.
FOR SALE is the 15" show saddle cover at an even further reduced price of $48.00 + PP
(orders taken for other sizes/colours and can be made within a week)
