Kia ora! I thought you might like an update. Hope, Aurora, and Jasper have all settled in really well after their flight across that Tasman. Jasper has welcomed the gorgeous Freya as a paddock mate.
I may not have any of my furniture or belongings yet, they are arriving this coming Wednesday, but the dogs and horses have everything they need like new beds, plenty of food, and of course their cozy dog coats which is very much needed at the moment.
I have borrowed a directors chair and kitchen stuff from friends, and my lovely painter has lent me a bed to sleep on.
There’s going to be a lot of changes to the property over the next few months including new dog fencing which will be installed mid-November. I will look forward to welcoming my first doggy boarders very soon I hope!

The departure of the adorable Wilson & Bailey signalled the official end of In My Home Dog Minding in Australia. My final boarders have gone home. The house was pretty empty, now it’s very quiet with just Hope and Princess Aurora Noodlebutt here. Excuse me while I have a little cry. 🥺

A few tears may have been shed yesterday when I said my goodbyes to Jack (Dak-Dak) and Bugsy (Bugalugs). I have known both since they were pups. Their hoomans had leaky eyes too as we exchanged big hugs - I used to look after J&B’s predecessors so we go way back. I will miss these boys who have been a big part of my life for well over a decade. 🥰🥹💙
