As requested... we’ve slowed things down a little! 😊

We had lots of great feedback on our last video showing some of the changes happening at The Big Egg in Levin including requests for a slower look at what’s new and a reminder of where to find us.

So here it is!

There’s plenty more to come as we continue filling the extra space and working through your suggestions, but we’re loving seeing it all start to come together.

Things are starting to take shape in Levin! ⭐

A little while back we asked what you’d love to see in our Levin shop, and we’ve been busy making room for some of it.

You’ll start spotting a few new faces on the shelves like Elysian Dips, fresh Turks Chicken, OO Flour, non-dairy milks, local coffee, herbs, spices and more.

We’re still adding to it, so if your suggestion isn’t here just yet, don’t worry... we’re not finished! 😊

Thanks to everyone who took the time to leave us ideas. It’s been really helpful, and it’s exciting to see the shop starting to take shape with products you’ve asked for.

If you're popping into our Levin shop, you'll notice we're in the middle of a few renovations.

The exciting part? It means we'll have space for even more of the products we love and we think you're going to love them too. 🙌

🥚 Meet the Team - Jeramie 🥚

If you've shopped with us in Levin, chances are you've been greeted by Jeramie! She's been part of The Big Egg whānau for 6 years, and one of the things she loves most is catching up with all of our wonderful regular customers.

A few fun facts about Jeramie...

🥚 Favourite way to eat eggs: Fried or hard boiled.
🛒 Three things she'd take home from the shop: Butterfly Pinoy BBQ, pork buns and our meatballs.
🍳 Favourite meal to cook: Pork Adobo with fried noodles.
🌏 She has worked in Hong Kong, Singapore and Kuwait, and speaks four languages – Cantonese, Arabic, Tagalog and English!

One of the questions she's asked the most is, "How do you know they're double yolkers?" (We get that one a lot! 😄)

Next time you're in store, be sure to say hi to Jeramie. She's always up for a chat and is one of the friendly faces that helps make The Big Egg Levin feel like home. 💚

That means our free range eggs come straight from the farm to our shops, without the extra steps in between. It's how we're able to offer quality eggs at prices people keep coming back for.
