Today we remember the pets who may no longer be by our side, but will forever hold a special place in our hearts. 🐾❤️

We feel so privileged to have been part of the lives of so many beloved pets, including being there to support families through their final goodbye and helping them peacefully cross the Rainbow Bridge.

We would love to see your photos and hear the stories of your special companions, the ones you have loved, lost and will never forget. ❤️

🐾 Meet Sophie! 🐾

Sophie has joined our team as a vet nurse, bringing three years of experience to the role. She started her nursing career in mixed practice before spending the past six months working in emergency.

Originally from a rural background, Sophie grew up surrounded by animals, which sparked her love for them from a young age. She absolutely loves meeting all the lovely pets and their owners, and has a particular soft spot for scruffy little terriers! 🐾🥰

When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll find Sophie spending time with her own scruffy fur baby, Scooby.

Be sure to say hello and give Sophie a warm welcome to the team! 💕

💗 On Wednesdays, we wear pink! 💗

This gorgeous girl came in for some X-rays sporting the cutest matching hot pink collar, lead and p**p bag holder… so of course, we had to keep her matching with a hot pink vet wrap for her catheter! 🎀🩷

Swipe to see a little behind the scenes of what our nurses get up to! After her X-rays under sedation, she really didn’t want to wake up alone, so Nurse Vicky kept her company with lots of cuddles — all while squeezing in some admin and organising her X-rays. 🥹💕

Our nurses are always multitasking behind the scenes, but making sure our patients feel safe, comfortable, and cared for is always the priority. 🐾🩷

Because sometimes nursing looks like cuddles, comfort, and a little bit of admin all at the same time! 😂💕

You may notice a new face (or hear a new voice!) at reception... Meet Sarah! 🐾

Sarah has joined our team as our new casual receptionist while studying veterinary nursing in her second year.

Originally from the UK, she's passionate about animal welfare and shares her home with two adorable dogs, Kobe and Louie—who are also some of our very cute clients! 🐶💕

When she's not at the clinic or studying, you'll find her exploring New Zealand on hikes or baking something delicious.

These clever pups practically pulled their owners through the door because they know the clinic is the place for treats, cuddles, and lots of fuss!

Meet Turbo! 🐈‍⬛

We met this handsome boy for the first time when he came in for surgery to remove his eye.
After assessment by an eye specialist, it was recommended that his painful, non-visual eye be removed to improve his comfort and quality of life. While losing an eye can sound daunting, cats adapt incredibly well and are usually much happier once the source of their pain is gone.

A few weeks on from surgery, we're delighted to say that Turbo is doing incredibly well! 🐱 His surgical site has healed, and he's adapted so well to life with one eye. He's back to enjoying life, pain-free, and showing us all just how resilient cats can be.

A special thank you to Turbo's wonderful owners, who have been so dedicated and caring throughout his journey. Their love and commitment have played such an important role in his recovery.

We're so pleased to have been part of Turbo's journey, and we think he's just as handsome as ever! 💙❤️

🎉🐾 Happy 13th birthday, Moose! 🐾🎉

Moose celebrated his birthday with us yesterday by popping in for his arthritis injection, helping to put that spring back in his step! 💙

Did you know that arthritis is very common in both dogs and cats, especially as they get older? The colder winter weather can make stiff joints and aches more noticeable, so you may see your pet slowing down, struggling to jump, hesitating on walks, or finding it harder to get up after resting.
