Lucy has completed her breaking in with a record of 4 weeks. Very quick learner and loved every minute, she’s pretty special this one.

She is possibly looking for a new home- Would love to see her out in the saddle Hunter pony ring, she will jump too 😉

About me

I have competitively been riding in the show ring since I was 4 years old starting in the lead rein. I have had huge success right through the pony rings, especially on Uptown Charlie Brown who holds many titles across NZ including my rider titles on him. I have novice ponies coming out soon and a thoroughbred off the track.

I try to get my ponies/horses using themselves properly and let them naturally come down into a frame, I focus on getting the most out of the pony/horse I am riding. I have broken in many ponies/horses starting from my 12.2h pony when I was only 11 and many others for myself and other people over the years, so I have plenty of experience. I get regular lessons from a top dressage coach, Debbie Nelson, who is always teaching me new ways to school and get the horse/pony to work off my leg and into the bit. So I am always adding to my knowledge for schooling my own ponies/horses and my clients.
