Dr Jonathan Christian performed an emergency C-section surgery to deliver this little one safely. Thankfully, it was a beautiful, strong live calf and a very happy result! 🐮🥰

Dr. Jonathan Christian performed a joint tap (arthrocentesis) on this beautiful Collie as part of diagnosing and treating joint pain. Every procedure is carried out with care, compassion, and the goal of getting our patients back to doing what they love.

This lovely patient was an absolute star throughout. ❤️🐶

🐶💕 Puppy vaccination day is always a favourite at Canterbury Vets Ltd!

These adorable little visitors came in for their vaccinations and, of course, won over the whole team. Vaccinations are an important part of giving puppies the best start in life, helping protect them as they grow and explore the world.

We loved meeting these gorgeous pups and can’t wait to see them again! ❤️🐾

👩‍⚕️🚜 Rhiannon and Lucy have been busy out on farm calls lately!

Recently, they were called out to assess and treat several cases of eye cancer in cattle. Early detection is key with conditions like this, as prompt treatment can make a significant difference to animal comfort and outcomes.

If you notice any abnormalities around the eyes—such as growths, cloudiness, or discharge—don’t hesitate to get in touch with the team.

🌟 Meet the Team – Vet Tech Lucy 🌟

Introducing Lucy Horn, our large animal Vet Tech. Lucy has a strong rural background, having grown up on a mixed farm in the UK and spending the past 10 years working on farms here in Canterbury.

Her favourite part of the job is the variety of animals she gets to work with — from dairy cattle and sheep to even horses.

Outside of work, Lucy is a keen member of the Dunsandel Young Farmers and enjoys surfing and Pilates. 🌊🐄🐑
