It’s Vet Nurse Awareness Month 💚🐾
The British Vet Nurses Association are asking owners to share their stories about how nursing team members have helped you and your pets 🐾💚

💚 May is Veterinary Nurse Awareness Month, this years theme is Compassion 💚

To celebrate, the BVNA is helping us acknowledge the incredible work our nursing team do by inviting people to shine a light on individuals or teams who make a lasting difference.

Our Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs) Student Veterinary Nurses (SVNs) and Auxillaries (ACA’s) often work behind the scenes, providing care quietly and selflessly 🐾

The BVNA are looking for stories of nurses who have:
💚Offered kindness, patience, or reassurance during difficult times.
💚Treated your pet with dignity, gentleness, and genuine love.
💚Sat with you when your animal was unwell.
💚Supported you in ways you’ll never forget.

With 22 wonderful dogs taking part and 17 units donated, you’ve helped save up to 68 lives — an incredible achievement! 🐾

Tri-Paw Day 🐾💚

Today is Tri-Paw Day! 💙🐾

We’re celebrating all the incredible three-legged pets who prove every day that resilience, courage and tail wags come in threes. 🐾🐾🐾 Many pets adapt amazingly well after amputation and go on to live happy, active, full lives.

Here at Ribble Vets, we’re proud to support our tri-paw patients every step (or hop!) of the way.
Alongside our veterinary care, we also offer complementary services including physiotherapy and hydrotherapy to help improve strength, mobility and confidence.
