This is an amazing video showing the gait abnormalities that are linked to hip dysplasia.

Dogs don't have to limp to be in pain or have a problem with their mobility.

Most times dogs suffering with hip dysplasia will show behaviour symptoms rather than physical symptoms of pain first, that's why we always suggest a vet check and a gait analysis before starting training.

Never stop learning! You can never know everything when it comes to dog training as science and knowledge is constantly updating.

That's why we are forever seeking the most up to date information to make sure we are confident we can provide the best services for you and your dog.

Of course we forgot to share our new qualification in co-op care trainer certificate.

Finished just in time for our next course!

It's a big one πŸ˜‰ sharing more news about it soon along with some new members to our team!😯

❓️Do you have your plan sorted for bonfire night tomorrow?
πŸ€“If you have questions, we can help.
❓️How has your dog been coping so far?
πŸ€“Have you found out what helps your dog?

Some dogs seek reassurance, it is absolutely fine to give them what they seek. They need support as they are scared.

Some dogs cope better if they play games as soon as they hear (hopefully a distant bang). Get them moving by playing treat toss/flick for say 5 or 10 minutes. Then hide treats around the house and in snuffle mats and boxes. Then give them a long-lasting chew to settle with.

Some dogs need to hide and they may have a favourite spot where they bolt to. Ensure this space is available at all times and as comfortable as possible.

We hope your pooches aren't too stressed

A subject we are forever passionate about! πŸ€“

Behaviour changes or worsening can be a sign of discomfort and should always be investigated before behaviour or training is started.

πŸ₯Ήβ€οΈ love to see the transition in our confidence class dogs from terrified to see me at the vets - to "can't wait, get me in that car mum!" 😊🀩🀩

Too many wins and not enough hours to get them shared!!⭐⭐

Here's Maybelle showing just how far shes come with her muzzle training this week! After her vaccines last week we was expecting a back step! No back steps here 🀩🀩

Why do you think I'm asking for a sit or paw while the muzzle is on?πŸ€”

Comment below if you think you know the answer! πŸ€“πŸ€“
