We managed to make some lovely round bale haylage and wrapped hay in the last dry spell. This will be available w/c 6th July.

We have some top quality small bale and round bale meadow currently in stock.

••• New season Round and Small bale meadow hay back in stock •••

After what feels like the hardest winter yet we are extremely glad to have stock of some top quality meadow hay.

Both small bales in packs of 21 and round bales available for delivery or collection.

Meadow hay made using the correct measures and leaving long enough to obtain the correct moisture content are safe to feed right away. All of our hay is probed with a moisture meter making sure it is below 15%.

Other grasses, in particular rye grass usually needs 6 weeks to be safe to feed. Please take your own advice on this matter and consult an equine nutritionist.
