Awwww poor RCS. Such a great show and always enjoy our annual visit with or without a horse entered. Thursday was great even in the pants weather.

Royal Cornwall Show – Saturday Closure

It is with great regret that following a thorough assessment of forecast weather conditions and their impact on the showground, the difficult decision has been taken to cancel the final day of the Royal Cornwall Show on Saturday.

The safety and wellbeing of our visitors, exhibitors, competitors, members, staff, volunteers and contractors has been central to this decision and remains our highest priority.

We recognise how disappointing this news will be for everyone involved, particularly those who had planned to attend, exhibit or compete, and we would like to thank all our stakeholders for their patience, understanding and support.

Further information for ticket holders, exhibitors, competitors, members and other stakeholders will be communicated as soon as possible through the Royal Cornwall Show’s official channels.

To suit 18+ uni student or international exchange. People and pony loving, physically fit grafter type of person with cracking good humour is best suited. Some riding of youngsters for right person.
3-5days weekdays - some weekend shifts potentially

Old Pony saddles wanted!
For 13.2hh - 15/16inch.
Bit old, bit scruffy, cheap as chippies but SAFE.
We let kids carry and handle tack so nothing fancy pants needed.

We need the coming rain, but so sad to see the stunning settled sunshine slip off again.

Love May.
Such a chilled vibe today. Now it’s 5pm on a Friday afternoon, half-term done and everyone has gone. Time to water pots and tubs whilst quaffing a Luscombe Cider. Noone booked the moor hack as must be at the beach or firing up BBQ! Don’t blame them. Done a fair bit of that ourselves this week. ⛵️🍻😎
Super progress with lessons, hacks and pony care learning for kids and big baby Archie with senior helper Eleni. Super weather, lots of baths, clips and sponging with no flies. Breezes on moor and late turn outs to keep black horses refreshed. Idyllic. 🌞🕶️

Long days but love it.
Turning out horses between 7-9pm last night. Awake 4.30 with dawn chorus. Dogs walked 5.45.
Just about to catch in to ride Iz and then a whole day of sunshine still ahead. 😎
