๐พ Adorable Adoption Announcement ๐พ
Beautiful Timotei, a 5 month old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, came into our care as a very nervous puppy. Having missed out on crucial socialisation during his early weeks, the big wide world felt like a very frightening place.
To help build his confidence, Timotei went into foster with our wonderful team member Faye and her dogs, Luna and Bear. Having calm, confident canine companions by his side helped him slowly come out of his shell, allowing him to feel safer, more relaxed and begin to enjoy new experiences. It quickly became clear that he would thrive in a home with another confident dog to continue guiding him on his journey.
Then along came Rachael, Simon and their family. Already proud adopters of Fudge, a confident spaniel they adopted from Gables two years ago, they were the perfect match for Timotei. They understood exactly what he needed and were more than happy to give him all the patience, love and reassurance he deserved.
The family visited Gables several times to spend quality time with him and build a strong bond before he went home. Timotei also enjoyed three home visits to make sure he was happy and settled in his new environment.
Now happily settling into family life, Timotei has a brand-new name โ Freddie! ๐พโค๏ธ
We couldnโt be happier for Freddie and his wonderful new family. With Fudge by his side showing him the ropes, weโre sure his confidence will continue to blossom and that heโll enjoy a lifetime of love, adventures and happiness.
