If there was enough interest in this we can organise a 3 day camp for this
This is only a preliminary idea at the moment but if the genuine interest is there we can make it work so do let us know , initially by commenting here

Due to a change in job and associated we have been asked to sell on a voucher for an individual falconry from
Horses session (with a non participating spectator)
Original voucher would expire January next year but we will put some time on it and extend it until the end of June 2026
This is one voucher only and is £175 as opposed to the £250 it would normally cost

Ever wondered what it takes to fly a falcon from the saddle — or introduce a hawk to a horse for the first time?

This course is designed for riders, falconers, and curious minds who want to do the real thing — not just watch it from the sidelines.

Over three immersive days, you’ll:

✅ Learn safe and effective hawk handling
✅ Introduce horses to birds calmly and confidently
✅ Practice groundwork with horses and raptors side by side
✅ Fly longwings (falcons) from horseback with guidance
✅ Take part in field sessions flying falcons and eagles out in open country

You don’t need to be an expert at either — just comfortable in the saddle and open to learning. We’ll tailor the pace and depth to suit each participant.

Into the Wind: Three Days of Horseback Falconry (March 25–27, 2026)

Craving more than just a holiday? Dive deep into a world where riding and falconry unite in an extraordinary experience. We’ve got something truly immersive lined up next spring — a three-day horseback falconry course, taking place from March 25th to March 27th, 2026.

This isn’t about watching from the sidelines. Over these three days, you’ll engage in real, hands-on learning and explore the powerful bond between horse, hawk, and human—from cautious introductions to thrilling full-flight moments.

What You’ll Experience

Day One – Foundations:
Master the essentials of hawk handling—safety, body language, and technique—and gently introduce raptors to horses. You’ll learn to read their reactions and foster calm, confident partnerships starting from the ground up.

Day Two – Elevate the Experience:
Shift into falcon mode. You’ll learn the art of flying falcons from horseback, focusing on timing, movement, and unspoken communication to guide these high-speed, high-altitude flyers.

Day Three – The Grand Finale:
Bring it all together. This is where you’ll fly falcons and eagles from horseback, working out in the field and witnessing how these remarkable partnerships flourish in action.
