There seems to have been a few rumours going around recently that Diamond Dogs is closing down, so I just wanted to clear things up for everyone 🐾
Diamond Dogs is NOT closing, and we are absolutely still continuing with dog grooming.
From October onwards, the salon will be closing temporarily while I take some “puppy maternity leave” as we prepare to breed one of our girls. As we haven’t bred her yet, we don’t currently know exact timings, which means we can’t fairly offer appointments beyond October at the moment. Rather than booking clients in and potentially having to rearrange appointments later on, I’d rather avoid any confusion and keep everyone properly updated once we know more.
Some people have also noticed that we are no longer offering teeth cleaning and assumed this meant we were stopping grooming too — this isn’t the case at all. We’ve simply decided to step away from teeth cleaning so we can focus fully on grooming services.
As many of you already know, the last year has been a difficult one health-wise, so I’m making a few changes to help create a better balance moving forward while still continuing to do what I love ❤️
Thank you so much to all of our lovely clients for your continued support, patience and understanding — it really does mean the world. We’ll keep everyone updated once we are back open after puppy maternity leave, although at the moment this is a date we cannot yet specify 🐶✂️
