When did you last check your cat’s claws? 🐾💅

Nail trims matter at any age, but older cats often need a bit more help with them.

As cats get older, they may scratch less, move around less or struggle to keep their claws worn down. They can become thick, long and curved, and if they’re left too long they can grow round into the paw pad.

Long claws can also catch on bedding and carpets, make walking uncomfortable and cause problems with grip, especially in cats who are already a bit stiff.

It’s worth having a quick look every so often, including the little claws higher up on the front legs. They’re easy to miss.

If your cat won’t let you check or trim them at home, I offer nail trims at the salon.

That clean coat feeling 😍

Nothing beats seeing a greasy coat properly clean, fluffy and moving again.

Cats can be bathed, and some coats genuinely need it.

Cats deserve better grooming.

Hollie has been visiting almost as long as I've been open 🥰. Grooms have been adapted over time to keep her comfortable as she gets older. As much of her groom as possible is done laying down being pampered like the Queen she is 🫶👑

Genuinely obsessed 😆 nothing is more satisfying than a properly degreased coat.
Its a myth that cats can't be bathed 🫶

Adventurous cats are bringing half their gardens along for a groom 😆 George is quite the explorer, but it's nothing a good bath, deshed, belly, and pad trim doesn't solve. He also had his chest trimmed as he likes to get it stuck in his mouth 😻😋
