Today five tiny 5-day old kittens arrived after being rejected by their mum. They were freezing cold and it really looked like they weren't going to make it, especially the two smallest and weakest. We managed to get them warmed up enough to get them home into foster and a nice toasty incubator! They've been well enough to start taking formula and amazingly, they're all still with us so far. It's very early days though, so all fingers crossed for these little ones! 🤞 🖤

Here’s a little update on Lola, she’s on antibiotics and steroids as well as this soothing skin spray. Whilst she doesn't much like the feeling of a wet spray, it's non-sting, and antibacterial, antiseptic, antifungal and antiviral! We don't know the cause still but she’s doing really well and continues to make progress each day.

⫸ Patient Update - Sparkie ⫷
Some of you may remember we first posted about Sparkie in January. He was found living inside an electric box trying to find shelter and warmth! Look at how much he is enjoying life now though, basking in the sunshine 💛

Kittens born after mum rescued from warehouse
A sweet and friendly female cat was recently rescued in the absolute nick of time. She was living in a factory store room, and the kind people working there let her stay and looked after her, rather than kicking her back out onto the streets. When it became clear she was also very heavily pregnant, help from rescuers was sought. Thankfully, this meant she was in a safer space to give birth - the very next day!! All kittens and mum are healthy and doing well in foster care with us.

Crumpet is on the road to recovery out of the incubator, and neither her nor Pancake need syringe-feeding any more! Crumpet's breathing is still a bit congested so she's continuing to get daily nebuliser treatments, but she's very happy to be out playing with her siblings all the time otherwise!

A small update from The Breakfast Club kittens with a video of Pancake enjoying her meal. Only one drop spilled is good going for a kitten! She absolutely loves being syringe-fed but she is also starting to eat for herself now too. They're all feeling much better after a few ear cleanings and treatment to get rid of the mites!
