Pseudancistrus Genisetiger (Slate Pleco) formally described in 1941 by ichthyologist Henry W. Fowler is one rarely seen in the hobby and certainly not at the size we currently have in stock.

These Plecos are Hardy and like slightly harder water with a PH of 7-7.5. Diet is very simple, Quality Pleco wafers supplemented with Courgette and canned green beans keeps these Plecos in great shape.

Unlike lots of fancy plecos these are sociable and are often seen out an about in the Aquarium.

Atya Gebonensis is a Giant shrimp maxing out at around 5 inches, this peaceful shrimp filters the water with 4 cheerleader like pompom fans on its arms. Harder water and powdered foods that hang in the water column for a good time are essential for this giant’s survival.
