Meet the handsome Floyd ๐Ÿพ

This gorgeous boy recently answered the call to help save a life! Signed up through Pet Blood Bank UK, Floyd was invited to our Aberdeen clinic to donate blood, and he smashed it. He was so calm, brave, and well-behaved that our team couldnโ€™t resist awarding him a Brave Pet Certificate ๐Ÿ…

Letโ€™s hear it for Floyd in the comments ๐Ÿ‘โค๏ธ a true four-legged hero who helped another pet in need.

Back and better than ever!

These lively pups recently bounded back into our Vets Now Belfast clinic, showing off just how far theyโ€™ve come.

When they first arrived, only days old, they were fragile and needed urgent care from our team.

Now, theyโ€™re healthy, happy, and full of playful energy - bringing smiles and a little bit of chaos to our waiting room. We couldnโ€™t be happier to see them thriving! โค๏ธ๐Ÿถ

Look who dropped into our Vets Now Belfast clinic!๐Ÿฆ‰

This adorable owl fledgling had taken a tumble from its nest. Thankfully, after a check-up and some medication from our vet, Sasha, it was found to have no serious injuries.

With help from the amazing USPCA volunteers, it was carefully returned to it's nest where a sibling was waiting for him โค๏ธ

Cheeky Henry worked up quite the appetite after a fun-filled day at doggy daycare - so much so that he helped himself to an entire container of kibble when he got home when his owner wasn't looking! ๐Ÿ˜ถ

Henry ended up vomiting and with a very swollen belly. He was taken to our Vets Now Manchester Hospital - where he was X-rayed to find a very full stomach, but thankfully it wasn't twisted.

Our team kept him in overnight on fluids and medication to get his digestion back on track - and after 12 hours of care and cuddles, Henry was well enough to head home ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿพ

Meet Molly - the 6 month old Shih Tzu who came into our Vets Now Glasgow Hospital after a freak accident involving a reclining chair.

After the incident Molly seemed okay at home - however, as time passed, her family noticed she was struggling to breathe.

She was then rushed to our hospital and was seen by our ECC team, who immediately placed her on oxygen. Molly stayed with us for the next three days, where she received intensive monitoring, diagnostics and supportive care - and made a remarkable recovery.

Molly is now home and back to her happy, playful self โค๏ธ๐Ÿพ

Giving people and their pets the care and support they deserve, at the time they need it most

Vets Now was founded in 2001 by Richard Dixon, a veterinary surgeon who understood the pressure of being on-call round the clock while also trying to maintain a good quality of life. His solution was Vets Now, a dedicated out-of-hours emergency and critical care service for pets.

In the following years, Richard and his team helped revolutionise the way emergency veterinary care was provided outside of normal surgery hours. He worked in partnership with local veterinary practices to offer vets and their clients an out-of-hours service. At the heart of this was a team of full-time vets, vet nurses and support staff who only worked at night, over weekends and during public holidays.

In 2019, Richard sold Vets Now to Europeโ€™s leading veterinary care provider, IVC, but the business has not changed and, today, Vets Now provides a trusted service to more than 1400 veterinary practices across the UK โ€” from 58 dedicated out-of-hours clinics and three 24/7 pet emergency hospitals, including Ipswich.

In total, our highly-skilled staff treat around 150,000 small animals every year โ€” and during seasonal holidays, like Christmas and Easter, we answer around five queries an hour from worried pet owners. So whether youโ€™re in Coventry, Nuneaton or Leamington Spa weโ€™re there for you and your pet when you need us most.
