Meet Dixie!
Found as a fearful stray at a local Trailer Park, this beautiful young cat, with her remarkable white ear tufts, remained unclaimed. She was with an older cat, believed to be her mother, who vanished despite attempts to trap her.
Dixie is now 6 months old, booked for her spay and enjoying life as an indoors only cat with a regular routine. She enjoys playing with toys, especially jingly balls and feathers. She also plays nicely with her cattery friend, Todd. She remains skittish about being touched or handled but will take treats from your hand and sit beside you.
Dixie is looking for a special place, someone quiet, who will understand she maybe skittish for a while. She will make a great companion and lounge ornament. She will be available for adoption after her spay (Nov 18) but if you are interested, please do send us a message!

All of lil Missy’s babies have found their forever homes 🥰 and now there is just her to find her person. Missy is such a loving cat. She was the best mama and looked after her kittens with so much attention and love ❤️ she will be such an amazing companion for the right home. She loves scratches and sitting beside for a cuddle. She is only 2 years old and is due to be spayed this Wednesday. So much love and life to live 😍

When 'Bottle Guy Barry' knew that his truck needed to retire, Straightline Chevrolet Buick GMC stepped up! Thank you for sponsoring the new NARA rescue truck. Barry's bottles are, by far, the biggest source of income for NARA, and we couldn't continue our work without you donating them and then brilliant Barry collecting, sorting & delivering them. Barry and his adopted NARA dog 'Charlie' are excited to be able to get behind the wheel and continue raising much needed funds.

Our latest Mumma and kittens are ready for their furever homes. Missy came into care, an emergency intake and heavily pregnant. Gave birth to 7 adorable kittens. Mumma Missy is getting booked for her spay soon and the kitten are available having had all their parasite meds and 1st vaccine.

Kittens in care are $200 adoption fee with that being fully refunded with proof of spay/neuter. Adults fixed in care are $250 adoption fee.

🐾 NEW KITTEN SPAY & NEUTER PROMOTION! 🐾

We’re making it more affordable to adopt a kitten while helping control our community’s pet population! ❤️

🐱 Pay the regular $200 adoption fee, which includes deworming, flea treatment and their first vaccine.

✂️ Once your kitten is spayed or neutered, NARA will refund the FULL $200 adoption fee!

📋 Proof of spay or neuter must be provided within 6 months of adoption.

This special promotion is made possible thanks to the generous support of our community through bottle donations and the hard work of our “bottle guy” extraordinaire, Barry! 🥰

NARA currently has a large number of kittens in care, with many ready for adoption and more still too young to find their homes. We want to keep our doors open to intakes, and hope this program helps remove financial barriers, encourages more families to adopt, and, most importantly, spay or neuter their new companions. 🐾

❤️ And don’t forget about our adult cats! Their adoption fee includes the FULL cost of their spay or neuter, as all adult cats are fixed before adoption.
