💚🐾 Happy National RVT Month & National RVT Week! 🐾💚

October is National Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) Month, and this week we’re celebrating our incredible RVTs and all the amazing veterinary technicians who make such a difference every single day! 🩺✨

To our lovely techs, THANK YOU for everything you do! From providing compassionate patient care, monitoring anesthesia, assisting with surgeries, administering medications, and running lab work to comforting nervous pets, supporting worried families, educating clients, keeping things organized, and being a helping hand wherever you’re needed — your roles are endless and so important! 🐶🐱

You are advocates for our patients, a source of comfort for our clients, essential members of our medical team, and the heart of so many moments that make a difference in the lives of the animals we care for. Your knowledge, dedication, compassion, and hard work never go unnoticed, even when the days get long and the work gets tough. 💕

We are so grateful to have such a wonderful team of RVTs and veterinary technicians. Thank you for showing up, going above and beyond, and loving our patients like your own. Our clinic simply wouldn’t be the same without you! 🥹💚

Help us celebrate and show some love to our amazing techs this month and especially this week! 🎉🐾

🖤🐾 Happy National Black Dog Day! 🐾🖤

Today we’re celebrating all the beautiful black-coated pups who bring their families endless love, laughter, and muddy paw prints! 🐶✨

Black dogs sometimes get overlooked in shelters, but their personalities shine just as brightly as any other dog. From goofy goofballs to gentle cuddle bugs, every black dog has a story—and a whole lot of love to give. ❤️

📸 Show us your black dog! Drop a photo in the comments and tell us their name (and their most lovable quirk 😉).

🧡 National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Today, we wear orange to honour the children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, and their families and communities.

As a veterinary team, we recognize that reconciliation is an ongoing journey—one that calls for listening, learning, remembering, and taking meaningful action.

We encourage our community to take time today to learn about the history and ongoing impacts of residential schools and to reflect on what reconciliation can mean in our everyday lives.

🧡 Every Child Matters.

Meet Otis! 🐾💙

This handsome Australian Shepherd has one very important rule: why keep your tongue in when you can let it hang out? 😛

Otis’s permanently adorable blep has become one of his most recognizable features, and honestly… we wouldn’t have it any other way! 🥰

Keep being your silly, sweet self, Otis! We’re always happy to see that tongue-out smile. 🐶👅
