Lice spread through direct contact (daycare, grooming, boarding, or close encounters) and can be around year-round!🥶☀️

To avoid the empty bowl stare, please keep these upcoming ordering dates in mind while we complete our annual inventory count.

Important dates:
• March 23 – Last day to order special compounded medications
• March 25 – Last day to order food & regular medications

Normal ordering will resume April 1, with orders arriving April 2.

If your pet may need food or medication during this time, we recommend placing your order early to avoid delays.

Mission Ridge Animal Hospital will be temporarily closed on February 10th from 12:00pm–1:30pm while our team attends training to learn about new and upcoming medications in veterinary medicine.

We’re feeling incredibly proud and grateful. 💙

As a clinic, Mission Ridge Animal Hospital was honoured to support Second Chance Animal Rescue Society - Alberta through our recent fundraiser in December—and thanks to you, the impact was huge.

Together, we collected over 100 kg of pet food and raised over $800, allowing us to purchase additional food for animals who are still waiting for their forever homes. That’s full bowls, real relief, and meaningful support for animals who need it most. 🐾

Thank you to our incredible clients and team for your generosity and compassion! This is what community looks like! 🥰
