🌷⚠️ Spring Dangers for Pets ⚠️🌷

Spring is a beautiful time of year… but it also brings some hidden risks for our pets. Here are a few important things to watch out for:

🌸 Lilies & Cats = Dangerous Combo
Even a small exposure (pollen, leaves, or water from the vase) can cause severe kidney failure in cats.
➡️ Best rule: No lilies in homes with cats.

🍬 Artificial Sweeteners (Xylitol/Birch Sugar)
Found in gum, candy, peanut butter, and baked goods — even small amounts can cause dangerous drops in blood sugar and liver failure in dogs.

🌱 Compost Bins & Yard Waste
As things thaw, compost can grow toxic moulds that can cause tremors, seizures, and serious illness if ingested.

🐭 Rodenticides (Rat Poison)
More commonly used in spring — these are highly toxic and can be fatal if ingested directly or through prey.

💚 Prevention is key:
✔️ Be mindful of what’s in your home and yard
✔️ Keep toxins out of reach
✔️ Supervise outdoor time when possible

📞 If you think your pet may have been exposed to any toxin, contact us immediately — quick action can save lives.

🌷🐾 Your Spring Pet Checklist is Here! 🐾🌷

Warmer weather is on the way… and so are the fleas, ticks, and parasites 😬
(And let’s be honest — they don’t even wait for the tulips to bloom!)

🦟 Spring = Parasite Season
Now’s the time to make sure your pet is protected from:
✔️ Fleas
✔️ Ticks
✔️ Intestinal parasites
✔️ Heartworm

⚠️ These pests aren’t just annoying — they can lead to serious health issues for your pet and some can even be passed to people.

💚 The good news? Prevention is simple.
A monthly parasite prevention plan keeps your pet (and your family) protected all season long.

🐟🐾 Happy World Tuna Day! 🐾🐟

If your cat could plan a holiday… we’re pretty sure this would be their favorite. 😸

Good news — cats can safely enjoy a small amount of tuna (in water) as a special treat today!

💡 Bonus tip for cat owners:
Don’t toss that tuna water down the drain!

That leftover tuna water (as long as it’s in water, not oil or flavored) can be:
✔️ Mixed with your cat’s regular water to encourage hydration
✔️ Frozen into ice cubes for a fun, tasty treat later
✔️ Used to entice picky drinkers who need a little extra encouragement

💧 Staying hydrated is especially important for cats — and sometimes a little tuna flavor is all it takes!

⚠️ Reminder: Tuna should always be an occasional treat, not a regular diet.

😻 Tell us — does your cat go crazy for tuna? Drop a photo or comment below!
