We are currently having some issues with our phones, so if you get a busy tone, please try calling again a couple minutes later. We hope to have this issue resolved soon.

Thank you for your patience.

Very well put! These effects would also be felt by our clients as we regularly utilize many of the same services.

We're very disappointed that the NB government has decided to phase out and withdraw funding to the Provincial Veterinary Services. Those people provide essential services to our large animal community and farmers.

If you would like to show your support of the NB Provincial Veterinary Services, we invite you to email both Premier Susan Holt ( [email protected] ) and the Minister of Agriculture, Aquaculture and Fisheries Pat Finnigan ( [email protected] )

There is also an online petition available to sign

We at City Animal Hospital are excited to welcome Fredericton’s first ever 24/7 veterinary emergency facility, Capital City Emergency Veterinary Hospital! Sister clinic to the Port City Emergency Veterinary Hospital in Saint John, Capital City aims to provide the same quality, full-service care pet owners deserve for their furry (and not-so-furry!) family members.

With the opening of Capital City, our overnight emergency care will be switching once more. All overnight emergency cases will be directed to their facility at 80 Bishop Drive. We will still continue to recommend the Walk-In and Urgent Care clinic (open 12pm-12am) for non-critical concerns outside our normal operating hours.

If you wish to take a minute and familiarize yourself with these two hospitals, you can find them at:
Capital City https://www.capcityemergencyvet.ca/, 80 Bishop Dr Suite B, (506) 447-8387
Fredericton Urgent Care https://frederictonurgentcare.ca/, 1130 Smythe St, (506) 777-1235

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control will not require Canadians to fill out long forms before crossing the border from Canada with their dogs this summer.
