๐๐พ Pet of the Week: Meet Moe! ๐พ๐
This adorable 2-month-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppy came to see us after his family noticed something alarmingโhe had vomited up a roundworm. ๐
Intestinal parasites like roundworms are common in puppies and can be passed from mother dogs to their puppies before birth or while nursing. Left untreated, they can cause vomiting, diarrhea, poor growth, a pot-bellied appearance, and other health concerns.
The good news? With prompt veterinary care and appropriate deworming treatment, puppies like Moe can get back to feeling their playful, happy selves! ๐ถโค๏ธ
Moe was an excellent patient during his visit, and we're happy to report that he's on the road to recovery and has a bright future full of corgi zoomies ahead! ๐ฆดโจ
๐พ Parasite prevention is an important part of keeping puppies healthy. Be sure to follow your veterinarian's recommendations for routine deworming, f***l testing, and preventive care.
Let's all give Moe a warm welcome in the comments! ๐
