🌟🐾 Pet of the Week: Meet Moe! 🐾🌟

This adorable 2-month-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppy came to see us after his family noticed something alarming—he had vomited up a roundworm. 😟

Intestinal parasites like roundworms are common in puppies and can be passed from mother dogs to their puppies before birth or while nursing. Left untreated, they can cause vomiting, diarrhea, poor growth, a pot-bellied appearance, and other health concerns.

The good news? With prompt veterinary care and appropriate deworming treatment, puppies like Moe can get back to feeling their playful, happy selves! 🐶❤️

Moe was an excellent patient during his visit, and we're happy to report that he's on the road to recovery and has a bright future full of corgi zoomies ahead! 🦴✨

🐾 Parasite prevention is an important part of keeping puppies healthy. Be sure to follow your veterinarian's recommendations for routine deworming, f***l testing, and preventive care.

Patient of the Week: Meet Annie 🌟🐾

Little Annie came to see us shortly after being picked up from her breeder's home. After a very long drive, her new family noticed she was covered in an unbelievable number of fleas and were concerned about her overall health and well-being.

Our team gave Annie a thorough examination and helped get her started on appropriate parasite prevention. Thankfully, her family acted quickly and brought her in for care. 💙

With warmer weather here, it's important to remember that parasite prevention season starts whenever temperatures are above freezing. Fleas, ticks, and other parasites can become active surprisingly early, putting both puppies and kittens at risk.

If you've recently welcomed a new furry family member, now is a great time to make sure they're protected!
