I found my calling for vet nursing through my work for Greyhound Rescue. While Greyhounds (especially my own girl Jill!) will always be at the centre of my heart, I have a passion for providing the best care possible for all pets and their families. I love being a vet nurse, because it gives me the opportunity to advocate for those without a voice.

Hi I’m Aneliese!
I started my vet nursing journey at the beginning of this year. I’ve always been passionate about animals and caring for them. I love that I am able to turn my passion into reality!

I have two dogs at home, Lucy who is a 13 year old JRT x and Mocha who’s a 4 year old border collie that I recently adopted. My hobbies include dog training and taking adventures with my pups. I’m keen to see what the future holds for me and I am so grateful to have an amazing team that has taught me all I know so far!

I’m an aspiring vet student currently in my second year of university. Ever since I could learn to read, I wanted to know everything I could about animals and even tried writing my own encyclopaedia at the age of 7 (unsurprising did not get published). As I grew older I learnt more about what it takes to be in the veterinary industry, and fell more in love with it. As I continue my academic journey, I also have taken up a junior nurse/reception position to better prepare myself for the real work environment and over this time I have learnt so many valuable lessons from the value of a good treat to best ways to make sure everyone has a positive and fear free time.
