🐈‍⬛ WELCOME HOME SOX! 🐈‍⬛

After three long months missing, beautiful Sox is finally back where he belongs, curled up on the family bed, his favourite place to rest.

Sox disappeared during a storm and despite extensive searching, there was no sign of him. As the weeks turned into months, his family were beginning to accept the heartbreaking possibility that he may never come home.

Then came the phone call on Friday they had been hoping for.

A kind member of the public had discovered Sox in her chook pen and took him to a local veterinary hospital. Thanks to Sox's up-to-date microchip details, his family were contacted immediately.

The reunion was nothing short of wonderful. 🥹

Sox visited us on Saturday for a thorough health check. Amazingly, he is in very good condition, just 2kg lighter than when he went missing! His mum joked that luckily he had been carrying a few extra kilos, which may have helped him through his unexpected adventure.

We couldn't be happier to see Sox safely back home with the people who love him.

This story is a powerful reminder of why keeping your pet's microchip details current is so important. A microchip does not track your pet, but it can be the vital link that helps bring them home when the unexpected happens.

Welcome home, Sox. ❤️🏠
