If your cat ventures outdoors they should be on tick prevention. Nexgard spectra is a monthly preventative that covers fleas, ticks and all worms (including tapeworm). Introducing our newest member of the Green Point Team - Elsie. Elsie was a whizz around the hospital this morning; greeting clients and patients, recording weights, feeding patients treats and cleaning floors. Who doesn't love going to work with mum! Thank you, Elsie (and mum for coming in when another staff member was sick and another is away).

Please note there will be no vet on the premises from 5pm on Friday evening the 8th of August, all of Saturday the 9th of August and from 130pm on Monday the 11th of August until close. We will be open normal hours for over-the-counter sales, to make appointments, to talk to the nurses regarding any enquiries, and for pick-ups of previously requested medications. We apologise for any inconvenience, but we are down a vet due to a dog bite suffered at work - we just seem to have no luck at the moment.

Ideally dogs should be on flea and tick prevention year-round. A simple solution is an injection which provides flea and tick prevention for 12 months. If you book in and receive this injection, we will provide you with a free WeatherBeeta coat for your dog (this will only be while our current stocks last and only for coats and sizes we currently have in stock).

We now have Gap Only at the practice. This means if you are with one of the insurance companies listed below, we can now make a claim directly to your insurance company and you only have to pay the gap or difference between the vet invoice and your insurance benefit.

Now is a great time to consider de-sexing your dog or cat - before Spring! We are a participating vet with the National Desexing Network (NDN), so if you have been considering de-sexing your pet but the cost has been putting you off - look them up to see if you are eligible. If our general prices work out cheaper then the price with the NDN we will let you know.
