🚨 ATTENTION TO PET OWNERS - PET SAFETY ALERT 🚨

We have received information from Central Coast Council that they will be conducting fox baiting programme with the use of 1080 (sodium fluoroacetate) fox bait commencing from SUNDAY 28TH SEPTEMBER - TUESDAY 28TH OCTOBER in the following areas:

📌 Matcham / Holgate / Tumbi
📌 Kincumber / Macmasters Beach

Areas affected are areas a part of the Coastal Open Space System (COS). Although prohibited to dog’s at all times. Please use caution and be vigilant to items that your furry loved ones may pick up on their walks.

These areas include:

📌 The Ridgeway Reserve
📌 Triple Springs Reserve
📌 Blue Gum Close Reserve
📌 Scenic Road Bushland Reserve

⚠️ Please NOTE the bait used is LETHAL to dogs and cats. Even a small amount may be fatal.

Pet owners who suspect their pet has taken a bait are urged to seek IMMEDIATE veterinary attention.

Happy first day of spring!🌻
And isn’t it a cracker!

I just wanted to say, that, as the weather starts to warm up, things for me at work and personal life does too!

I know it can be frustrating when you can’t get in when you want. But the fact is, at this time of year you should be booking ahead if you can.

Of course life pops up and has other plans and I’ll do my best to help.

But i am only one person and i can only take on so many dogs per day.

As we get closer to summer and the crazy time of Christmas. If you can do so. Please book in now. It’ll save you and myself the headache later 🩷

Introducing the adorable Lenny! Lenny visited us recently for a Dental Procedure including a scale and polish with extractions and recently returned to us for his post dental re check! 🦷

We love seeing Kat’N’KaPoodle Dog Grooming - at Ourimbah Vet grooming transformations.

Her love and attention to each and every dog really stands out!

That fact that i have been at Ourimbah Vet for a year now, I thought I’d do a reintroduction!

Hi I’m Kat the dog groomer 😍
I’m also a mum, a wife, a bookworm 🐛, gym goer, true crime girlie and theater enthusiast 🎭

I’ve been grooming for 15 years.

It all started when I was around 19 and fell into the industry. It was hard work and I did some traveling in between but I always went back.

I decided to go out on my own in 2014 and i just happened to be able to work at Hornsby Vet where i worked for 10 years.

My family and I moved up to the central coast at the end of 2021.

So last year I made the hard decision to leave Hornsby and I was vet lucky to get a space at Ourimbah.

I’m enjoying making new friends and getting lots of snuggles.

Thank you for all the support this past year! And I’m looking forward to seeing you all soon and hopefully meeting a few more friends 🥰
