Shanyn Heuvel Eventing Private, shared & group lessons, clubs & clinics in the surrounding suburbs of Upper Beaconsfield. I am an experienced event rider and general coach.

I have ridden many horses and have come across different breeds, temperaments and skill levels. I can help you bring your horse back into work after a spell, assist in keeping him or her in full work if you simply don't have the time or help in finding your equine friend a new home. I have been coaching for many years and enjoy helping riders with confidence issues aswell as improving rider skills

. I aim to provide a patient and friendly approach to encourage horse and rider partnerships. Beginners to intermediate riders, nervous or confident, I would love to help. Currently an intro general riding coach, I am working my way towards a level 1 accreditation. Available throughout the week and most weekends please contact me with any enquiries

Congratulations Paul Connolly and Duke‼️

Paul said - "Well for Duke it was clearly the canter poles. But only on the left, and I’m pretty sure he wanted to try for five strides 😬"

Paul's referring to an 8 stride canter line that we rode and were practising shortening and lengthening the stride. Duke was pretty keen to get the shortest number of strides within the 2 poles 😂

Yesterday we worked through a whole variety of poles exercises… but which one do you think your horse would have voted as their favourite? 🐴

Was it the walk exercise?

Sometimes your horse just needs an extra ride.

Maybe you’re short on time, coming back from an injury, unable to ride for a few weeks, or simply want someone experienced to put another productive ride into your horse’s week.

For just $45, bring your horse to me in Upper Beaconsfield and I can help with:

✨ Improving the foundations
✨ Polework and coordination
✨ Building fitness and cardiovascular capacity
✨ Lunging & groundwork
✨ Mounting practice
✨ Rehab-specific exercises
✨ An additional ride when you’re temporarily out of action

I’m not offering to “get the buck out of your horse” or take on difficult behavioural cases — this is about productive, purposeful schooling to help keep your horse progressing.

Thirty minutes can be plenty of time to make a difference when you have a clear plan. 💪🐴
