If you’re searching for a horse with serious presence, talent, and heart, Pud might just be the one.

Pud is an 8-year-old, 16hh Friesian cross gelding with powerful, quality paces and performance potential. Currently training Elementary with some play towards changes, Pud is athletic enough to develop into a high-level dressage or all-round performance horse.

He’s a compact, impressive type with a lot of power, and he’s incredibly willing, thrives on regular work, and loves having a job. He genuinely enjoys training and gives 110% every ride—he’s an absolute joy to work with and hands down my favourite to ride in the team.

Pud has been out and about—exposed to indoors, outdoors, and competitions. He also loves to jump, adding versatility to his already well-rounded resume.

That said, Pud is not suited to beginners or nervous riders. He needs a confident, capable rider to bring out his best. Someone who enjoys a horse with a cheeky, intelligent and curious personality. In the right hands, he’s a dream partner: genuine, affectionate, and easy to have around.

Pud is an absolute pleasure to handle in every way. He’s easy to catch, rug, float, shoe, and clip, and has no quirks around the stable or paddock. He stands quietly for the farrier, loads and travels well, and is happy to be fussed over. He’s the type who thrives on attention and human interaction—always the first to the gate and genuinely enjoys being part of the daily routine.

Pud would suit a competent adult rider looking for a special horse to bring up the levels, or someone wanting an athletic partner who also enjoys the work as much as you do.

Vale Cherenton Galaxy

Gal was a cherished member of the ZVD team, leaving his mark not just in the arena but in our lives. He brought people together, including introducing me to my now dear friend, Andrea Babon. After his time at ZVD, he found the perfect home with longtime client Lisa and her daughter Jazzy, where he was adored, became Jazzy’s best friend, and enjoyed pony club and jumping.

He will be deeply missed but always remembered.
