Janet is a Grand Prix rider and trainer with over 40 years experience developing horses from the ground up. Having trained with Art Uytendaal (the Flying Dutchman) for over 20 years and Lone Jorgensen for the past 14 years, she brings extensive experience from High Performance Dressage and competition at the highest level.

Janet is passionate about developing both horse and rider, and understands that success takes time, patience consistency.

“I have trained all my horses from the start. Never had a school master or a trained horse under me. I know what it takes and how challenging it can be at times. I enjoy teaching people who realise that it doesn’t happen overnight and that it takes time. I am enthusiastic and determined to set riders on the right path and love seeing the little wins along the way.

I compete with Bloomfield Vegas at Grand Prix who has just been named in the final 3 of the Victorian Equestrian Awards for GP Athlete of the year

I am also currently riding and training Total Iceman who was 4th in the first round of the 4 year old class at DJWTS and just had his first open class with scores above 76% in Preliminary.

I love helping riders find the right path and celebrating the small wins along the way”.
