Newbridge Animal Centre, your newest local Vet in South West Sydney, has now been treating pets in the area since April 2014. Headed by an experienced, caring Vet Dr Jenny Myers who is glad to be back caring for family pets & Nurse Liz along with our other nurses

It was quite a transformation building NAC - Construction from what was previously a blank canvas of a printing factory floor was tran

sformed into a purpose built small animal general practice. Our aim is to bring a caring and professional approach to Veterinary care for your four legged kids. Newbridge Animal Centre comes to the area with staff on board that have many years of experience behind them. Dr Jenny Myers is the Principal Veterinarian and brings with her 30 years of experience following her time owning & running Bankstown & Boundary Road Vet Hospitals- NAC is a new venture following the sale of her previous Hospitals in 2013. Like our page to keep up to date with products and services and events. We are happy to give you a tour when you visit. We hope to you see you and your pets soon.

⚠️ Pet Owners, Please Be Alert!

Even though they’re not usually aggressive, a bite from a Red-bellied black snake can be dangerous to your dog or cat.

🐾 What to Do:
✔️ Keep pets on a leash during walks
✔️ Avoid letting them sniff in long grass or near water
✔️ If you suspect a snake bite, seek emergency vet care immediately.

Summer is just around the corner, which means paralysis ticks are on their way!
It is important to take every precaution you can to prevent your animal from being in harms way!
There are a few things you can do:

Ensure your pet is on tick prevention.

Ensure your pets coat is kept short. 🐕

Regular tick checks on your pets. 🪳

Signs of paralysis ticks can show in many different ways, which are listed below!

Signs of tick paralysis in animals include hind leg weakness that progresses to full paralysis, changes in bark or meow, difficulty breathing, vomiting, gagging, and excessive drooling. Other symptoms can include lethargy, loss of appetite, and a general lack of coordination. If you observe any of these signs, it is crucial to seek immediate veterinary care, as paralysis ticks can be fatal!

If you notice any of these signs in your pets, please contact the hospital as soon as possible!

Meet Garfield – a loving and affectionate Domestic Shorthair approximately 6+ years old, ready to find his forever home!

Garfield was brought in to us by a member of the public a few weeks ago, having made himself comfortable in an apartment complex. After receiving medical attention from our team, he is now looking for a place to call home. As an older cat, Garfield is suited for a quieter, peaceful home, where naps are encouraged and love is shared daily.

Based on his time with us, we think that he may be best suited to a single pet household 🏡, however he does get along well with our other stray Benji!
🐱💛 Whether you’re looking for a lap warmer, a playful pal, or a quiet companion, he could be the purr-fect match.

Meet Benji – a sweet and loving Domestic Shorthair approximately 1+ years old, looking to find a place to call home!

Benji was brought to us for medical attention by a member of the public, and after waiting for a potential owner to come forward we have decided to adopt him out. With a playful spark and a calm, loving nature, he is past the kitten mischief but still full of curiosity and charm that have won us over. Whether it’s playtime or cuddle time, Benji is ready to be your new best friend 🐱💛

Dr. Jenny Myers, our esteemed Principal Veterinarian, brings over 35 years of experience in successfully owning and operating veterinary clinics. With a passion for excellence and a deep commitment to her patients, Dr. Jenny has personally selected two outstanding veterinarians to join our growing team.

We are proud to officially welcome:
Dr. Natalia Ramos and Dr. Olivia Allen

Their addition will allow us to offer more appointment availability and greater flexibility to meet the needs of all our clients—both great and small.
