In November 2023, UCS opened its second branch in Brisbane Qld. We are now fully operational and are capable of supplying all major projects throughout the state. We are looking forward to building new relationships and helping to assist with supply of our products into infrastructure projects in QLD. Keep an eye out for upcoming posts on our Brisbane team members coming soon.

As PVC bend supply specialists we often get asked how the radius of a bend is measured.
The radius of a bend is measured from the 90° point (excluding the socket) through to the centerline of the conduit.
The radius is also equal to the offset distance, as shown by the dotted line.

U6's Yarrawarrah Green Tigers Vs Bosco Bulldogs

The sun beamed down on our youngest Tigers at Yarrawarrah Oval on the last Saturday of Autumn. With scarves and gloves packed away from the previous week, the scene was set for a high-scoring local derby against the Bosco Bulldogs on a dry track, thanks to the ground staff (Sutherland Shire Council).

Unfortunately, it took the boys and girls from Yarrawarrah two and a half quarters to remember how to tag effectively, leaving us a bit behind on the scoreboard by the end of the third quarter. Something clicked—possibly the halftime speech from the coach—and Jax Hoffman started a clinic on “how to tag,” inspiring the rest of the team to follow suit. The team not only improved their tagging but also scored tries.

Raiden Price, for the second week in a row, was a superstar with the ball in hand, scoring another six tries. More impressive than the tries were his efforts and commitment in tagging.

Despite their efforts, our young Tigers were a few tries short of Bosco's impressive tally when the full-time ho**er blew. The final score was 64-72.

✅ Man Crush Monday or should we say 💚 Matt-Day! A huge warm QLD welcome to our newest Man on the block - Matt our QLD Branch Manager.
welcomed Matt to the team in September 2023 to head up our brand new QLD UCS BRANCH based in Brendale.
Matt's joined the team with a background of 20 years as a sparky - laying many KM's of conduit without spacers 🤯 and a wealth of knowledge in account management.
When Matt is isnt out representing , he is a proud supporter of the Brisbane Broncos, partial to the Dolphins (who isnt) and the Swannies in AFL. He enjoys watching bands 🍻, a surf 🏄‍♂️ and spending quality time with his beloved french bulldog pooch Cash 🐶
Matt has fitted into the team perfectly with his charisma and industry knowledge, and we are proud and punch 👊 to have him on board. WELCOME MATT!
