That’s why we do everything we can to make sure your furry family member feels safe, comfortable and loved from the moment they are admitted, throughout their procedure and recovery, right through to their happy pick-up to go home.

This gorgeous boy is Diesel, enjoying some extra warmth, cuddles and reassurance with our beautiful Nurse Natalie before his surgery. 🥰🐾

We’re so happy to share that Diesel recovered beautifully — and he’s now back home, cone of shame OFF and living his best life! 🎉🐶

🧡🐾 TINY PATIENT, BIG SURGERY, LOTS OF LOVE! 🐾🧡

Meet our absolutely adorable Pacho 🥹🧡 who came to us last week for his orthopaedic surgery — arriving in his very own little carry bag! 👜🐶

Being such a tiny patient, and with the weather so cold, keeping Pacho warm, cosy and comfortable throughout his stay was especially important to our team. 🧡

At Liverpool Veterinary Hospital, we always try to put ourselves in your furry friend’s position. If they’re cold, frightened or uncomfortable, we want to do everything we can to make them feel safe and cared for. 🥰

Pacho made a fantastic recovery and came back to see us happy and doing so well! Seeing our patients thriving after surgery is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. 🧡🧡🧡

🚨 🚫 STOP SCROLLING! Yes… our vet nurse is actually pretending to eat dog kibble… just to convince her patient to have ONE bite! 😂🧡🧡

And honestly? If it helps our patients recover, we’ll happily do it. 🧡

Meet Angel, who was recovering on her second day after major surgery to remove bladder stones. Like many pets after surgery, she wasn’t too interested in eating—but every bite is an important step towards healing. 🧡🐾

So Nurse Amelia did what she does best… she got creative! 😄 Sometimes all it takes is a little encouragement (and a very convincing performance!) to help a patient feel comfortable enough to eat. 🧡

Behind every recovery is a team that celebrates every small win. Whether it’s hand-feeding, extra cuddles, sitting quietly by their side, or even pretending to eat dog kibble, we’re committed to doing whatever it takes to help our patients heal. 🧡🧡

Meet our adorable Walter, who spent a few hours with us for a blood test. To help him feel relaxed, we made sure he had a cosy blanket, lots of cuddles, and his favourite Bluey episodes playing. 📺💙

🐶 The Teenage Phase… It Happens to Pets Too! 🤣💇‍♂️

We all know teenagers have a habit of falling asleep anywhere and waking up with a hairstyle that seems to defy gravity… and apparently, our furry friends go through the same phase! 😂

Last week, Charlie came to spend a few hours with us for some testing. Despite the clinic being flat out, we just couldn’t let this adorable moment go unnoticed.

Charlie was an absolute superstar—sweet, calm, gentle, and so patient throughout his stay. ❤️ After enjoying a well-earned nap, he woke up looking like he’d just discovered his “teenage years,” complete with a spectacular bedhead that would make any high school student proud! 🤭🤣

We couldn’t stop laughing… and honestly, we think he absolutely rocked the look! 😎🐾

It’s little moments like these that make even the busiest days at the clinic so special.

Thanks for the laughs, Charlie—we hope your hair settled down eventually! 💙

💕 Meet Nurse Nerdie! 💕

Who says veterinary nursing can’t be fun? 😄

At Liverpool Veterinary Hospital, we’re always looking for creative ways to make the most of everything we have. Instead of letting a simple surgical glove go to waste, our amazing nurses gave it a new life and created Nurse Nerdie—our cheerful little clinic mascot who reminds us to smile, even on the busiest days! 🩺💙

Veterinary life can be hectic, unpredictable, and sometimes downright crazy. Emergencies walk through the door without warning, surgeries keep us on our toes, and every day brings a new challenge. 👑 All hail Queen Jelly! 👑

Last week, the beautiful Jelly came in to Liverpool Veterinary Hospital for her X-rays. As always, we wanted to make sure she stayed nice and warm… but Queen Jelly had other ideas! 😅

Sitting still? Absolutely not. 🤭

Our nurses got creative and tucked her blanket into her harness to keep her cosy… and before we knew it, Jelly had transformed into royalty! 👑✨ Looking every bit like the queen she believes she is, she proudly wore her “royal cape” while supervising her loyal subjects (our nursing team, of course! 😂).

Needless to say, she stole everyone’s hearts and plenty of smiles along the way. ❤️

🐾 Friday’s Little Heart-Stealer – Meet Bear! 🧡

Fridays at Liverpool Veterinary Hospital are always a whirlwind, with our team working back-to-back to care for all of our wonderful patients. In the middle of the busy day, we had the pleasure of welcoming the adorable Bear for his desexing procedure.

From the moment he arrived, Bear’s sweet nature, gentle personality, and those irresistible puppy-dog eyes had everyone smiling. It’s safe to say he completely stole the hearts of our vets and nurses! 🥹🐶

Bear was an absolute superstar throughout the day and recovered beautifully. We hope he’s now enjoying lots of cuddles, rest, and a few well-earned treats at home.

Thank you to Bear’s family for trusting us with his care. Patients like Bear are a wonderful reminder of why we love what we do—even on our busiest days.

🧡🐾 Look how much Mavrick has grown! 🐾🧡

Many of our clients will remember Mavrick as the adorable little German Shepherd puppy who stole everyone’s hearts. Today, he visited us for his final puppy vaccination, and we couldn’t believe how much he has grown into such a handsome, happy young gentleman! 🧡🐶

Watching puppies grow from tiny bundles of fluff into confident young dogs is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. At Liverpool Veterinary Hospital, our patients are more than just pets—they are family. 🧡
