🐾 UPDATE ON OUR POOR GUCCI – LUCKY YOU CAN’T SMELL THROUGH THE PHONE! 🤢❤️
Our poor Gucci is a 12-year-old senior boy who came into our care very neglected, and we are doing everything we can to get him the care and comfort he deserves in his golden years. ❤️🐶
Gucci had his vet appointment today, where he received his vaccinations, a general health check and, of course, had those poor teeth of his checked.
And when I say lucky you can’t smell through the phone, I mean it! 🤢 The smell coming from Gucci’s mouth is absolutely horrendous due to the severe dental infection and decay. 💔
We have tried our best to get clear photos to show everyone the full extent of Gucci’s dental disease, but unfortunately, it has been really difficult to capture just how bad his mouth actually is. The photos simply don’t do justice to the severity of the situation.
Sadly, Gucci’s teeth are in an absolutely horrendous condition. He is already missing most of his teeth, and it’s likely he will need a full dental extraction. We have been quoted $2,500 for his dental surgery and desexing.
This poor boy has clearly been through so much in his life, and it breaks our hearts knowing he has been left in such a state. At 12 years old, he deserves to be comfortable, pain-free and surrounded by love. We want to give him the best chance at enjoying his senior years without the pain and discomfort of his terrible dental disease. ❤️
Unfortunately, this is a massive expense for our small rescue. We have just had Max undergo his own dental surgery, and we are still a new rescue trying our best to help animals who desperately need us.
We know times are tough for everyone, but we are urgently asking for help to get Gucci the treatment he needs. Every dollar makes a difference, and even the smallest donation will help us get closer to our goal.
If you can spare anything at all, please consider donating towards Gucci’s vet bills. If you can’t donate, sharing this post would mean just as much to us. ❤️
Let’s show this beautiful old boy that he hasn’t been forgotten and that there are people out there who care about him. He deserves to know what love feels like, especially after coming to us so neglected. 🐾❤️
