Oakley’s a Groodle, and yeah - there’s that common idea that they’re non-shedding. Genetics don’t always read the memo though. Most Groodles shed, some don’t, and some hold onto a LOT of undercoat that needs to come out before we can even start.

That pile in front of her? That all had to come out before the bath. If we skip that step, we risk matting and you lose the clean, soft finish you see in the after photo.

She was so proud standing behind her work of art 😂

Groodles are gorgeous dogs, but they’re high-maintenance when it comes to coat care. Regular brushing at home makes a huge difference between a quick tidy-up and a full detangle session.

My books are open for new pups again 🐾

I had to slow things down last year to handle some personal stuff, but everything’s sorted now and I’m ready to take on new clients again.

I work 1-on-1 with just one dog ( or family) at a time, and I specialize in grooming for dogs with fear and anxiety issues. No rushing, no kennel stress, no chaos — just a calm, patient session so your dog actually feels safe.

If you’ve got a nervous pup who needs a groomer that gets it, or you know someone who’s been struggling to find the right fit, send me a message. I only take on a few dogs at a time so I can give each one my full attention.

I think Wynter has more friends than the average dog but it’s for a good reason.
He’s actually working as he is part of my help the dog not be stressed about grooming strategy.
He’s there to help other dogs who may not like being groomed find some resilience to cope when things get uncomfortable or they just get stressed by it all.
Weather it be a bit of play or to just sit quietly and be a calming presence, he takes his job very seriously and is very good at it!

Little Miss Posey had her first grooming session today. She was very brave when faced with things that she thought were a little scary or strange. Wynter was happy to help her de stress afterwards with some play💝
