Right after we said goodbye to the Birdhouse Crew, we saw this cute little fellow, looking a bit bewildered at Hovell Tree Park, beside the river. On ya!

Alex walks for Hello Little One on Mondays with 2 miniature pinschers. Today, we had a lovely surprise when we bumped into the Birdhouse Crew and walked together to Hovell Tree Park. Great to see you Coen, Aaron, Dan and Ally! 🐾🐾

Hello Little One always keeps the dogs we walk with on-lead for safety, and we never walk dogs from different households together. 🐾
The only time we have off-lead dogs is a special arrangement for one owner to regularly take their 2 big dogs to a local off-lead dog park. On arrival, we check to see what dogs and people are in the park, in case letting ours off-leash could be risky. Sometimes we keep them on the lead until we are past other dogs/people near the entry. 🐾

Just this week, we had a near-miss incident when an off-lead dog on Monument Hill bolted towards us aggressively, barking and growling. We quickly picked up the 2 very small dogs, as best we could, to protect them.
The other dog’s owner apologised but did not even have a lead with them and the dog ignored her commands. Not safe, not OK. 👎

This needs to be everywhere!
