Increasing cases of parvo virus have been detected across Tasmania.
Please be sure to keep your pups safe you can do this by:
- ensuring vaccinations are up to date
- ensuring you keep at risk groups (puppies and young or unvaccinated dogs) contained
- avoiding high risk areas (eg dog parks)
- isolating your pet if they show the following signs: vomiting, inappetance, dehydration, diarrhoea and seek veterinary care.

If you need your dog seen at home or worried they have any of the above signs we can manage outpatient care so your pup can be kept at home and ensure preventatives are up to date.

Hi Hobart and Surrounds, we are a house call veterinary service.
We can come to your home and provide expert care for your dog, cat or pocket pet right at home.
Services include urgent care/after hours appointments, routine appointments (such as vaccination), home euthanasia/end of life care.

Availability week starting 2nd of March.

House call Veterinary Services:
Did you know your pet can receive care at home?
Our house call service provides a range of home care services both during business hours and when your regular vet is closed.
While we may not have a clinic there are still plenty of services that can be done at home!
Services that we provide include (but not limited to)
- vaccinations and check ups for cats/dogs and even rabbits!
- blood and urine testing
- other laboratory diagnostics and tests
- chronic condition management
- hygiene services such as nail clipping/anal glad expression and hygiene/mat clips
- end of life care and cremation services
- emergency triage and outpatient care (where applicable)

What area do we service:
Currently we are based in southern tas and routinely service the greater Hobart region.
Over time we are hoping to expand to more regularly provide services to more remote locations and across more of the state.

Currently we are open by appointment and can be contacted any time to arrange care. We can also provide services weekends, nights and public holidays (subject to availability)

Appointments available:
We still have appointments available with Dr Kayleigh for this Sunday for house calls anywhere from Bagdad to Launceston.
Either for routine appointments or unwell appointments.
The following services (and more) can be provided in the comfort of home!
- routine vaccination/wellness (dogs, cats and rabbits)
- end of life care (including organising cremation services)
- routine blood draw appointments
- wound management (bandaging, staples)
- urgent out of hours care for sick pets
- management of chronic diseases (including repeat medications)
- repeat injections

due to unforeseen circumstances we are now changing our trip to 25th Of January.

Midlands trip:
Hi, we have finalised dates and will be coming through the midlands on the 15th of January, please enquire for prices.
We will be stopping at all towns along the midland highway and our final stop will be Launceston.

Services:
Small animal consulting (dogs/cats, exotics)
In home euthanasia + cremation
Small animal Vaccination services
Grooming: includes only hygiene clips and nail trims
We can also see ‘sick’ appointments on the same day.
At this stage we cannot offer large animal services or anaesthetic/surgical services.
