OUT OF HOURS SERVICE NO LONGER AVAILABLE AT GVH

For the last 9 ½ years, Canberra Veterinary Emergency Service (CVES) have operated from our premises when we are closed providing overnight care to our patients.

From today, they have moved to new premises located on the corner of Barton and Federal Highways, Lyneham, no more than 15 minutes' drive from GVH. They are also changing their name to Animal Emergency Service – Canberra (AES-C).

We have loved working side by side with this amazing team of incredible individuals and developed some wonderful friendships over the years and look forward to our continued relationship with this team moving forward.

Today we’re celebrating the absolute superheroes at the front desk — our veterinary receptionists 🐾💙

Our reception team are experts in multitasking — answering phones, booking appointments, comforting nervous pet parents, coordinating chaos… and still managing to greet everyone with a smile.

So today, we say a huge THANK YOU for your patience, compassion, quick thinking and schedule wrangling skills. We truly couldn’t do it without you!

The 23rd of March is National Puppy Day, and we were lucky enough to celebrate it with Dolly, Maisy, Willow, Ardie, Maisie, Echo and Sif at our Puppy Class!

We will be closed from Friday 3 April to Monday 6 April, returning on Tuesday 7 April, normal business hours. Our team are looking forward to enjoying a 4 day weekend of rest.
