It’s a common myth that indoor cats don’t need vaccinations… but even our homebodies can still be at risk.

Vaccines help protect against serious diseases that can be spread through:
🐾 Open windows or screens
🐾 Humans bringing viruses inside on shoes, clothing or hands
🐾 Unexpected escapes or emergency boarding stays
🐾 New pets coming into the home

Keeping vaccines up to date is one of the simplest ways to protect your cat and keep them healthy for years to come 🐾💉

As the colder months roll in, don’t forget that our pets feel the chill too ❄️🐾

A few winter reminders:
• Bring pets inside overnight where possible
• Make sure bedding is warm, dry and off cold floors
• Older pets and small breeds may need an extra layer
• Keep an eye on arthritic pets, as winter can make those aches worse
• Check outdoor water bowls aren’t icy on frosty mornings

In honour of ANZAC Day, our clinic will be closed on Saturday 25th & Monday 27th of April to pay our respects.
