It has been such a huge week!
I had an amazing time at the Australian Western Makers Expo in Dalby last weekend and got a few entries in.
My chaps won people’s choice/highly regarded and that made my day! A tissue box was placed champion in homewares category and I got champion bridle as well as some junior {hinks, all with greats scores. Some amazing work from so many different makers and some incredible people cheering each other! I had the pleasure of judging the belt categories and there were some beautiful belts there!

The chaps and bridle will be available.

I’d like to thank the organisers of the Australian Western Makers Expo- Elloise and Trevor, judges, sponsors, competitors, Leatherworking and saddler friends, all the other incredible makers and vendors, Dalby Showgrounds, my good friend Tori assisting with my booth 🙏🏼 , my awesome customers and the campdraft competitors alongside this event. It was so busy!

Now back in the workshop carving some oak leaves 🍂 amongst other jobs I have.

My heart is full 🤎

So I have slowly, over time, been researching little kid sizing to develop three different little chink/chaps patterns in small, medium and large.

It’s been such a long process, a huge amount of research for various little jean sizes etc (plus the fact I don’t have any little ones to measure of my own). They’re still in trial phase to check that my different patterns suit most kids hip vs leg vs height etc for that age bracket,.. but gosh aren’t they adorable!! 🤎

This is the Amigo in Medium, (I think you will gather what the other two different size patterns will be called.. 😃)

⭐️ A tapered version of my Brandy design, for a wonderful customer who needed a belt custom fit to suit her much loved engraved silver buckle. These buckles can have varied dimensions and I make the belt the right widths, thickness and tip cut to suit. I’m so pleased how it all turned out! (And how good did my border lines turn out too!) 🫶🏼

I’ll do more like these over time, thank you all!

🔪 Not often I offer offcuts but I have gone through all my containers and have smaller bits of mixed leathers I won’t use that have been accruing. I’ve also got some practice pieces of tooling leather available that I usually keep for my own trials and practice.

All lots fill a large postage satchel each.

Picture 1 is the bunch of strap offcuts of tooling leather which is great for earrings and small items to be stamped or practice/lesson pieces. One large satchel available at the moment. $35+

Pictures 2-4 are Mixed soft leathers. Great for earrings and small crafting.
3 large satchels full are available at the moment with about 13 different leathers in each lot. $45 +
