Look at that handsome face! 🐾

Charlie’s owner brought him in for a skin cancer check after noticing a small lesion on his nose. Luckily, the lesion was caught in its early stages, allowing Charlie to undergo a cryotherapy procedure.

Cryotherapy uses extreme cold, delivered via liquid nitrogen, to freeze and destroy abnormal cells. This helps control the tumour and, hopefully, prevent further growth.

Because the lesion was detected early, cryotherapy provided a less invasive treatment option than surgery, which may have required removal of a significant portion of Charlie’s nose.

A great reminder to keep an eye out for any new or changing lumps, bumps or lesions on your pet. Early detection can make a big difference. 💙

💕 Sweet Lily recently came in for one of her regular hospital stays, looking very pretty in pink 💕

Lily is one of our lovely renal patients who visits us every few weeks for supportive care. During her stay, she receives IV fluids to give her kidneys a rest. We also perform blood and urine testing, along with blood pressure checks, to monitor her condition.

We’re so pleased that Lily’s latest results had improved, and she was ready to head home after a day of cuddles. We look forward to seeing her again in a few weeks for her next check-up.

Have you seen Roy and Keeley?

They’re Australian Green Tree Frogs🐸
Roy (the male) is a little bigger — and definitely chubbier — than Keeley (the female).

Their pet nurse Tameeka has created the perfect home for them, complete with a waterfall to hide behind or bask around in the spotlight.
They spend their days munching on crickets and occasionally serenade us with their enthusiastic croaks.

These funny little frogs now call the front desk home, so be sure to stop by to take a peek!
