Temperature has dropped again to low 14’s, we do have a full canopy in our paddock at the moment though! Areas of barer ground will be higher in temperature.

A big surprise and multiple sites in the paddock have recorded a 14.0 degree soil temperature……. We expect this to just be an outlier.

SOIL TEMPERATURE UPDATE
Taken 9.00am Kariah (North of Camperdown)
and West Colac

16.1 near Camperdown and 16.4 at Colac in our usual temp spot! A good growing temp.

➡️ A look around the paddocks in the last week with photos from farmers and taken by our agros…. Silage crops and pastures are looking good, maize is coming along smoothly, and brassica crops are powering along. Beware as the pests are making themselves known! Caterpillars and moths are getting around, as are slugs in some areas!
