Socks is a friendly, loving 2yo male cat who loves to talk & is very excited to see you come home! Socks is quite adventurous and playful, he's great with other cats, but he does love to be the centre of attention. Being around little kids is probably not the best as he doesn't feel safe & can get startled with loud noises.

Socks is ready for re-adoption thru Colac Cat Rescue due to his hoomans health circumstances but he is very much loved by his family; they will be so sad to see him rehomed but know it will be for the best. Socks is desexed and microchipped.

Could you please consider providing Socks with a forever home? 🙏

Much-loved blue/grey Burmese cat “Boots” has been missing since Thursday morning, September 11, 2025 from his home on Princes Highway, BIRREGURRA.

Bw. WINCHELSEA & COLAC, SW Vic.

Boots is 4 years old, microchipped, and very distinctive in appearance.

Humans at home are very concerned he may have been taken, as he sometimes liked to sit near the front gate where many cars pass by.

Scarlett needs FOSTER CARE!

Approx 2-3+ months care

Scarlett is a 2 year old female, American Staffy terrier. Desexed and microchipped.

She is an absolute sweetheart!! She is gentle and kind and loves to be around people. She's great around cats too and gives them their space. Probably not ok to be with other dogs incase they intimidate her & she might get scared. She loves to be around someone, so she may need additional stimulation like music to let her know it's okay & you'll be back home! Fence jumping attempts might be her inspiration to join the dog Olympics, so its ok for her to be tied up during any times that she is left alone if appropriate. She'll then as always meet you with a fast waggly tail and pure happiness!!

If you have a secure yard (!!!) and an environment that sounds like it would be perfect for Miss Scarlett, please let us know!

CAT Foster Carer Needed
‼️ CRITICAL‼️
🙏 Are you in the position to provide love and care and supplies for Oreo & Smokey?

It will be for approximately 2-3 months. Their loving human urgently needs care for these 2 cutie pies and will miss them dearly until their return. We will fundraise to cover vet care and any other emergencies if the need ever arises. It is requested these 2 cuties remain INSIDE ONLY please! Perfectly litter trained and well behaved. Both are aok with other cats + dogs once they get to know them ~ and are also great around kids, but may hide initially! Both are desexed and microchipped.

🐈Oreo is a 5 month old Female who loves to play, run and have fun! Great health. May fret if not with her human but can settle her.
🐈‍⬛️Smokey is a 9 year old Male who loves cuddles, may dribble when in pure happiness, talks for food if comfortable and rubs himself against you and purrs, may have quiet time and hide only if scared, normally very happy and friendly.

Did you know the amazing Cat Protection Society of Victoria has a Benevolent Fund, established with a heartfelt mission:
"to spare devoted cat owners from the agonising choice of parting with their cherished feline friends, and to shield beloved cats from the anguish of surrender to our shelter."
The Benevolent Fund is used by our Society to provide a lifeline to loving cat owners facing financial hardship where the owner’s inability to fund emergency or unexpected veterinary care would otherwise result in surrender, euthanasia or significantly impact their cat’s life. This funding provides for one-off, emergency or unexpected veterinary care and cannot be used for ongoing veterinary or preventative care. This care will be provided at our onsite, Cat Protection Society Veterinary Clinic. We are unable to provide funding for treatment and / or care at other Veterinary Clinics.

All applications for support using our Benevolent Fund will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and the decision on the cat’s and families we are able to assist will be made in consultation with a member of our adoption shelter team and a Senior Veterinarian.

🙏 Foster CARER wanted!
HeLP! Do you live on acreage and can foster care for 4 cats AND a dog⁉️
Or possibly 2 cats? Or a dog!

We have a family urgently needing TEMPORARY foster care for their fur babies due to a critical housing situation. The perfect outcome would be all 4 cats AND the dog fostered together🙏 but we understand the fur family may need to be separated and split up into different foster homes. If you could consider caring for 2 cats, or any combination, then please still let us know!

Nb. To foster all 4 cats for this family, the carer will need to live on over .25 hectares, to meet local council requirements. Fyi ~ To house 5 cats, a householders land must be 1+ ha👋🏼
All pets are Microchipped, desexed and registered (altho currently to current owner).

⏰️We are estimating the timeframe required will be approx 2-3 months, although we would like to allow approx 6 months (Feb/March).

•~♡~• Our foster carers must be 18+, have their own transport & licence (and be prepared to attend local vet visits), able to care for cats/ kittens indoors in your own home providing a safe and secure environment initially isolated from other pets. We will look after vet costs but do prefer if our carers can provide food, litter tray, toys & travel cage (or we can supply) .. at least until we can source a pet supply organisation who can help us with these cat items, especially litter and cat food!

✨️ MR. TWINKLE TOES 🐈‍⬛️
Awww talk about affectionate! This guy has lived the absolute life in a nursing home (Mercy Place Colac) for most of his life! But he is now needing a forever home urgently, if you would love to look after him in his senior years, please contact Colac Cat Rescue.

12 year old Male.
He is adorable & loves affection and really loves being around people!
Perfectly kitty litter trained.

Mr Twinks 😁 is an inside cat, but once he gets a taste of the outside, he wanders! And wanders!! Therefore he will need to be an inside only cat, or have boundaries for him in the yard.

Twinkle Toes will be allowed to go from his current owner/carer straight to his new home (the Approved Adoption applicant) once a Meet & Greet has been successful and the Adoption paperwork has been authorised.

We provide a number of affordable options incl a one or two part donation payment, or a weekly or fortnight contribution over a time suitable for you. All donations $2 and over are Tax deductible.
