Heytesbury – what an awesome event!
Rags and Paddy competed in the Eva80 young horse class. Nip competed in the Eva95.
Dressage 🫠�Paddington was very excited with all his new friends in the warm-up arena, showing off some Grand Prix movements he clearly doesn’t know.�Rags had a nice, calm test, with Mimi finally managing to pilot a perfect circle.�Nip – It was lovely to have an audience standing in the shade along the fenceline. Unfortunately, Nip thought they were the boogie monster, lions, or Bigfoot. 👹
Showjumping 🫨�Rags and Paddington made their jockeys hold on tight.�Nip had an unusual rail down.
Cross Country 🤩�SO MUCH FUN! Mimi finished without parting company with her pony or missing a jump. 🙌🏻�Paddy and Nip had it all under control, though the jockey caused a few speeding tickets for both.
Other interesting facts�Mimi needs to learn not to wear shoes in the float when they're covered in mud.�Beck has some work to do on her DIY skills – namely reattaching the awning to the float… 😅
It was wonderful to catch up with friends and ponies I hadn’t seen for some time. It was a wonderful feeling seeing so many horses I had previously campaigned.
