😂🐾 When the event has a dress code… and you understood the assignment! 🐾😂

We had an absolute blast at the Hill's Pet Nutrition event! From learning new things and expanding our knowledge to laughing until our cheeks hurt, it was such a fun evening with the team. 💙

A huge thank you to the Hill's Pet Nutrition team for hosting such a fantastic event, and to Schalk Bezuidenhout who had us in stitches! 😂👏

Because knowledge is power… but apparently so is dressing like a giant, colourful Muppet! 🤣

We learnt, we laughed, we ate, we made memories — and yes, we absolutely committed to the outfits! 😂🐶🐱

Work hard. Learn lots. Laugh even harder. ❤️

Today we’re celebrating the incredible women who make up our Sunset Beach Vet team! 👩‍⚕️👩‍💼🐶🐱

From the consult room to reception, from caring for our patients to keeping everything behind the scenes running smoothly — these women bring dedication, compassion, strength, knowledge and a whole lot of heart to what they do every single day. ❤️

We’re incredibly proud of the amazing women on our team and everything they contribute to our practice — and to the animals and families who trust us with their care. 🐾

FOUND DOG – PLEASE SHARE

This young female dog was found near Sable Square. She is very friendly but understandably a little nervous. She is not microchipped.

The finder witnessed a man dragging her by a belt around her neck and hitting her before she was rescued. Thankfully, she appears to be in good physical condition.

She will be staying safely with the finder tonight and, if space is available, will be taken to the AACL in the morning.

If you recognise this dog or know where she belongs, please get in touch as soon as possible. Please share to help us find her owner or anyone who may know her story.

🦆 A Little Rescue with a Big Heart 💚

Today we received a call about three tiny ducklings trapped in a drain alongside the MyCiTi bus lane. With no time to waste, our team headed straight to the scene.

Our Practice Manager, Hermien, Dr Rozanne, and vet student Emma sprang into action. After making sure it was safe to proceed, Emma bravely climbed into the drain and carefully rescued each duckling, passing them up one by one to waiting hands.

With all three little adventurers safely out, the next part of our mission began—finding their mom. We searched the surrounding wetlands, hoping to reunite the family, but despite our best efforts, we couldn’t locate her.

The ducklings have since been handed over to experienced wildlife rehabilitators, who will ensure they receive the care they need and, hopefully, one day return them safely to the wild where they belong.

A huge thank you to the kind member of the public who called us, and to everyone involved in making this rescue possible. Every life, no matter how small, is worth protecting. 🦆💛

This toy fell out of someone's car window at the intersection of the R27 and Bay Beach Avenue. Unfortunately it was hit by car but apart from being a bit dirty, he seems ok! The vehicle was travelling towards Milnerton. We suspect it might belong to a doggie. Please share this post to find his way back home. 🦆🐤❤️

This female pitbull was picked up on Bosmansdam Road this morning. She was running on the road and jumped into someone's car. She is not microchipped and it seems like she had puppies recently. This sweet little girl has had a rough start to life, but after lots of care and love she has made an amazing recovery and is now healthy, happy, and ready for her forever home. ❤️

She is:
• Vaccinated
• Very affectionate and loving
• Used to cats
• Comfortable around cat-friendly dogs
• Looking for an indoor, caring home where she can be spoiled

She has such a gentle nature and loves attention and cuddles. We would really love to find her a safe, loving family after everything she has been through.
