Meet Quinn, a brave little ring neck who came to us after being surrendered in rough shape. When she arrived, it was clear something wasn’t right—Quinn was plucking her feathers. After some testing, we discovered she was suffering from metal toxicity, a dangerous condition that can be life-threatening if untreated. She immediately started on an intensive treatment plan to help prevent the metal from releasing more toxins into her body. With the help of a special implant, we’re hopeful that her beautiful feathers will soon begin to grow back. She’s still wearing her collar to protect her new feather growth, but we’re optimistic that it can come off soon.

Quinn’s recovery journey has been made a little easier thanks to the comfort of new friends. She now shares her space with three other ringnecks, and she’s especially smitten with one named Fiji. The two are often seen snuggled up together, offering each other warmth and love as only birds can. Quinn still has a road ahead of her, but with medical care, companionship, and a lot of heart, she’s showing signs of improvement every day. We’re so proud of how far she’s come and can’t wait to see her fully healed and fluffy once again.

Meet Lime and Kiwi, two beautiful ringnecks with very different beginnings. Lime was surrendered by her previous family and came to us shy and unsure. Kiwi was found wandering alone in someone’s yard, nervous and frightened. Both were a bit scared of people and unsure about their new surroundings.

But something amazing happened — they found each other. Since pairing up, Lime and Kiwi have become inseparable. Their bond has helped them feel safe, and they’re slowly learning to trust the world again. Now they spend their days chirping, preening, and enjoying their cozy home together. It’s been so rewarding to watch them flourish!

The little Guinea pig babies are loving the warm cozy fire at their foster home. Is so nice to snuggle up together. They have been little Champs with their medications and feedings. They are all severely underweight, so their foster mom syringe feeds every one of them so they can put on some very needed energy reserves.

Thank you very much to everyone who has donated and helped out with these babies.

We have been very fortunate and received a donation of more puppy tents to even more Guineas can head to their foster homes.

The tents are not suitable for long-term life, but while they are on medication and rest, it is a very nice safe space for them.
