Losing a pet can happen in an instant, and the experience is deeply distressing for both you and your animal. Fortunately, there are effective steps you can take to improve the chances of being reunited.

Although an ID tag with your contact number is useful, it can easily fall off or become damaged. A microchip offers a far more reliable solution. Once your pet is microchipped, any veterinarian, shelter, or rescue organisation can quickly scan the chip and identify you as the owner.

Kidney disease is one of the most common conditions we see in our aging feline friends, but because cats are experts at hiding discomfort, the signs can be subtle.

𝐃𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰?
• Approximately 1 in 3 cats will develop kidney disease in their lifetime.
• In cats over age 10, that number jumps with over 50% of seniors often showing some stage of kidney decline.
• By the time symptoms (such as increased thirst or weight loss) appear, the kidneys may have already lost 75% of their function.
