Finally, a picture of a puppy pile! It has been so warm they were constantly so spread out! They are all already walking at 15 days, so we are going to offer their first meal today!

And no, I don’t know if any will be available at this time. Only if someone backs out, however, we have some excellent crosses being made this year and more than normal due to the age of the dogs which makes it now or never…so this is the year to get one if you’re interested in a hound from Hat Creek!

Those waiting on Queen…she is not in season yet. I know several of you are faithfully waiting for her to come in. We will keep you updated on this page!

The babies turned two wks old today and had their first deworming along with momma! Eyes are opening and most are already walking around some. We did suffer a loss of the littlest boy early on in just an unfortunate mishap, but the rest are doing very well and so is Heidi. More pupdates soon!

Been in the woods working different dogs, starting some youngsters and singling Sport and R***r out on their own. It’s been awhile since I’ve had one sit down and tree but this may end up being R***r’s tree style. Guess it may keep a dog out of some trouble and I’m good with it as long as a dog has the 🦝!

🐾We had an opportunity come to us this week for Chrome to be featured as the breed representative for Blueticks in a national magazine for AKC. The concept is to help familiarize the conformation judges with all the breeds. In discussion, the gentleman learned we still use our dogs for their original purpose and hunt what we show, and he was absolutely elated! When I sent the boy’s photos in for them to design the ad, and they learned Rambo was a Top 16 finalist at the ‘24 AKC World Hunt, they surprised us with making him the feature in the ad!! I think they had a lot of fun with that hunting picture!🦝

I love introducing folks to our sport, and our part we do to help preserve our great breed.

🐾Heidi had her spa day and then moved into the maternity ward on Wednesday! We are in the last week and expecting puppies very soon! She had her first litter on Christmas 🎄 Day two years ago. Wouldn’t it be neat if she has some Memorial 🇺🇸 Day babies for her second and final litter?! Stay tuned!🐾
