We know these posts can sound like broken records, but the need is continuous. Right now, we’re in urgent need of ✨kitten food✨ and ✨kitten paté✨ to keep our little ones healthy and happy. With record numbers of kittens coming through our doors, it’s crucial that we keep these small mouths fed.

Thank you for helping us care for these precious babies! 🐾💕

Nobody likes to see animals suffer, and we are far too familiar with it.

So far this year, we have taken in 653 animals — 11 of them today alone. Two of those intakes are tiny kittens with severely damaged, exploded eyes that will need emergency removal surgery first thing tomorrow morning. We are hopeful their little bodies will pull through.

They are far too young to have endured this kind of pain, and despite everything, they are still incredibly sweet. They were born on the streets and never had the chance they deserved.

As kitten season continues to pick up, more and more babies arrive at our doors every single day in desperate need of medical care, food, medications, surgeries, and around-the-clock support. Cases like these are heartbreaking, but turning them away is simply not an option for us.

If you need help with spay/neuter resources, please contact us. We want to help. Preventing situations like this is one of the biggest ways we can reduce suffering before it starts.

The two kittens with the exploded eyes also came in with three siblings who are needing medications and supportive care so they do not suffer the same heartbreaking fate.

We cannot do this lifesaving work alone. Your support allows us to provide urgent medical care, safe shelter, and a second chance to animals who have nowhere else to turn. Whether you donate, share this post, or simply help spread awareness, you are making a direct difference in their lives.

Thank you for standing beside us for the animals who have no one else.

This is animal advocacy.

As we honor and remember our brave soldiers this Memorial Day, let's not forget the safety of our furry friends. Here are some tips to keep your pets safe during the holiday:

1. Keep your pets indoors during parades and fireworks displays as loud noises can be frightening and stressful for them.

2. If you're having a barbecue, make sure to keep all foods and alcohol out of reach of your pets. Certain foods like onions, garlic, and chocolate can be toxic to them.

3. Decorations such as small flags and streamers can be a choking hazard for pets. Keep them out of reach and supervise your pets around them.

4. Make sure your pets have proper identification tags and microchips in case they get lost during the festivities.

5. If you're traveling with your pets, make sure they are safely secured in a carrier or harness during car rides.

Let's make sure our pets are safe and comfortable during the holiday. Have a happy and safe Memorial Day! 🇺🇸🐾❤️🐶
