How is Roger *STILL* searching for his forever home? 🐾
MA/RI ADOPTER NEEDED!

As Sweet as a Peach Animal Rescue and are URGENTLY looking for a cat-free ADOPTER willing to continue his training journey.

Roger is 5–6 years old, and until recently, the shelter was the only life he knew. For years, it was his entire world.

Now, for the first time, he’s out of the shelter and learning how to just be a dog — and he is trying so hard. And doing SO well.

Because of his long shelter stay, Roger developed a little stranger danger. But with patience, kindness, and structure, he’s already making incredible progress. He’s learning people can be trusted. He’s learning love doesn’t disappear.

And once he feels safe?
His sweet, loyal personality shines.

🧠 Currently in training and improving every day

Roger is ready for forever. Right now, he just needs a calm, cat-free home willing to keep building his confidence. A home with another dog would be OK❤️

After spending most of his life overlooked, he deserves a chance to finally belong.

Big Mac is a 5-year-old terrier mix with a personality as big as his name.

He’s:
✔️ House-trained
✔️ Playful & attentive
✔️ Loyal to his people
✔️ Always ready to make you smile

Big Mac loves being by your side and truly thrives on connection. He does have some food guarding, so he’d do best as the ONLY PET and with experienced adopters who understand how to manage that behavior.

With patience and structure, this sweet boy will absolutely flourish. The shelter has given him safety — now he needs a home to give him love. 🏡
